Zohran Mamdani’s run for mayor of New York City is a clear and present danger to the stability, economic health, and democratic foundation of both the city and the nation.

His platform is rooted in a radical socialist ideology that has, time and time again, led to failure, repression, and suffering wherever it has been tried.

And thanks to a clip surfacing on social media today, we see that Mamdani is not hiding this. In fact, he has been strikingly open about what he believes and what he plans to do. You can listen to his comments for yourself here.

Speaking in 2021 at the Young Democratic Socialists of America Organizing Conference, Mamdani said his goal is to “continue to elect more socialists” and to be “unapologetic about our socialism.”

He followed that with two key objectives: boycotting Israel and “seizing the means of production.”

The phrase “seizing the means of production” is not some vague slogan—it is the core tenet of Marxist revolutionary ideology. It means that private property, businesses, and industries are taken from their owners and turned over to collective or state control.

Historically, this has been done not through elections or peaceful reform, but through authoritarian rule, state violence, and mass suppression.

In the Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin used the seizure of private farms and industry—known as collectivization—to consolidate power and eliminate private enterprise. This led directly to the Holodomor, a man-made famine in Ukraine in which millions died.

In Maoist China, the Great Leap Forward aimed to forcibly collectivize agriculture and industry under state control. It too resulted in catastrophic famine and the deaths of an estimated 30 to 45 million people.

In Venezuela, Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro pushed nationalization of key sectors, fixed prices, and expropriated private businesses. The result has been economic ruin, hyperinflation, food and medicine shortages, and mass emigration.

Mamdani’s unapologetic admiration for these ideas should not be taken lightly...(READ THIS FULL ARTICLE HERE).

Russian threat sees Eastern Europe bring back land mines

June 29, 2025

Five out of six countries along the border with Russia and Belarus plan to secure their borders with land mines, aiming to protect NATO's eastern flank from a possible attack. But the plan is highly controversial.

Since the start of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine in February 2022, there has hardly been a more pressing issue for NATO than the defense of its eastern borders.

Over the past three years, five of the six NATO countries that share a border with Russia or Belarus — FinlandEstoniaLatvia, Lithuania and Poland— have already made significant investments to better secure these borders, for example with fences and surveillance systems.

But now, a new plan is in the works: land mines.

Eastern NATO member increase border security

Those five NATO countries recently announced their withdrawal from the Ottawa Convention, the 1997 treaty which bans anti-personnel mines worldwide and prohibits their use, production and transfer. Only Norway, which shares a nearly 200-kilometer (124-mile) border with Russia, wants to stick to the treaty.

Such mines are highly controversial, as they can be a danger for both soldiers and civilians. Uncleared mines remain a long-term threat after the end of a conflict: In 2023, nearly 6,000 people worldwide were killed or injured by land mines. Some 80% of the victims were civilians, including many children.

Clearing these explosive devices is dangerous, expensive and extremely time-consuming. According to the nongovernmental organization Handicap International, 58 countries around the world and other areas are still contaminated with land mines, even if some of the underlying conflicts ended decades ago.

Fed Chair Jerome Powell accused of lying to Congress over $2.5B ‘Palace of Versailles’ HQ revamp

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is being accused of lying to Congress after he denied that a $2.5 billion revamp of the central bank’s Washington headquarters will load the facility with lavish amenities — and some are demanding that he be punished, The Post has learned.

Powell called The Post’s exclusive report in April about the bloated renovation project — which led Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) to liken it to the “Palace of Versailles” during a grilling by the Senate Banking Committee last week — “misleading and inaccurate.”

“There’s no VIP dining room, there’s no new marble. There are no special elevators,” Powell insisted under questioning from the powerful panel on Wednesday. “There are no new water features, there’s no beehives, and there’s no roof terrace gardens.”

Anti Semitism at Harvard

Trump admin formally accuses Harvard of violating civil rights law over campus antisemitism

The Trump administration has formally accused Harvard University of violating civil rights laws by not doing enough to combat campus antisemitism, and is threatening to pull all federal funding from the prestigious school.

The stark warning came by way of a letter from the federal Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, claiming Harvard has been “in some cases deliberately indifferent, and in others has been a willful participant in anti-Semitic harassment of Jewish students, faculty, and staff” since Hamas’ terror attack against Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

Mamdani Declares: Billionaires Have No Right to Exist

New York City’s wealthy elite and business leaders are sounding the alarm after Democrat mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani secured a spot on the 2026 ballot. The reason? Mamdani is a self-proclaimed socialist who openly argues that billionaires shouldn’t exist. He champions radical policies, such as government-run grocery stores, free housing, and universal healthcare—ideas that would expand state control and increase public dependency. Now, with Mamdani on the rise, the city is bracing for a potential “exodus of billionaires” and a chilling effect on investment and economic growth.

During a segment on “Meet the Press” on Sunday, Mamdani was asked whether he believes billionaires have a right to exist, to which he said “no.”

“I don’t think we should have billionaires because frankly it is so much money and in a moment of such inequality and ultimately what we need more of is equality across our city and across our state and across our country,” Mamdani said.

“I look forward to working with everyone, including billionaires, to make the city that is fair for all of them,” he continued.

While Mamdani’s rhetoric may sound appealing to some, many forget what socialism truly entails. At its core, socialism centralizes power in the hands of the government. When the state controls the economy—industries, wages, and prices—it also gains influence over individual freedoms, including where you work, what you can own, and even what you’re allowed to say.

In addition, when the government controls how much money a person can earn and operates major industries, profit incentives and competition are often eliminated. Without these driving forces, businesses become inefficient, sluggish, and unresponsive to their customers. The Left often complains about so-called “authoritarianism” under President Donald Trump—but if Mamdani takes office, they’ll find out what real government overreach looks like.

Mamdani’s victory has sent shockwaves through New York’s real estate circles, with top agents reporting a surge in calls from clients looking to pause business plans in Manhattan—or leave the city altogether.

John Boyd Jr, founder of Florida-based corporate site selection specialist The Boyd Co., said there are “alarms going off among many key executives as well as the billionaire class about New York becoming a socialist run city.”

Eric Benaim, a leading real estate broker in Manhattan, said that “It’s the most devastating thing (to our industry) since 9/11.”

“We are going to have the biggest exodus of New Yorkers since Covid - except this time, they’re not going to come back. That’s going to change New York,” he added.

Additionally, Mamdani doubled down on his plans to kick ICE out of New York, suggesting he is committed to keeping Manhattan a sanctuary city.
